Yesterday we used the sunshine to visit Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was arrested for 18 years. An ex political prisoner gave us a little insight about the things happened here. The rest of the day we spent in Langa staying at Mthunzi's mother's house where we had an original braii with lots of people coming around. Not just the food was delicious. Yesterday we started the day with a nice time in the city to get a little feeling for the town. At Green Market Square we had the chance to buy some souvenirs before the band went to Zula Bar for sound check. Before the gig we were for dinner at the "Africa Cafè" were we could taste a lot of different african food and a little show. The whole personal came in and sang some traditional songs for us.
