I am a neo soul and Jazz musician from Kenya who loves networking and believes that Music and Poems do bring hope and strengthen the faith of human beings in the world.
I believe in opportunities for all and that apart from talent, what will make one successful is skills. 10% talent, 90% passion, skills, business acumen and 101% GOD.
Thats just the way it is. Experience is the best teacher!

great, let's exploit what can be done to Kemanize this project. I'd really love to learn more about your way of living in music.
Do you have means of recording your music and ideas somehow, and to upload it?
Any recordings at hand to demonstrate your way of art?
And of course: Do you have an aim already what you would like to do here, or are you waiting for suggestions?
For the music biz question:
Of course this is my personal point of view, focussing (not only) on Germany's music industry.
Music biz here is another kind of prostitution, you gotta sell your soul to be a product that sells and that is ruled by managers who try to estimate which product will bring in most money (for them, not for the musicians). I've watched some of them, no matter in which music style they were, there is only a narrow path to be successful "in the underground" to make a living out of what you really want. That's why I opted to earn money in IT-biz and not in music.
Plus - we have a question of music in beneficial projects liek this. For the pro's it's gotta be a job like any (yes, they need food on their table), and the amateurs have difficulties in professional collaboration.
You'll find some of my thoughts in a little poem here.
And :-) you'll find a pro who lately entered this project - with his profile remark for his favourite music already forseen in that poem :-) (now what a coincidence....)
I'm trying to offer cooperation without those boundaries - as we IT people say - "all constants are variables!". But of course my means as an amateur are limited, as you'll hear in my player.
Hi Antony, great to meet you at Sawubona, welcome!!!

Hi Carsten, bin heute seit langem mal wieder auf Sawubona gewesen. Hast du die Geschichte mit den Digital Musicians schon gesehen oder getestet? Wie geht es so, was macht die Musik?
Gruß Conny

by Norman DarwenThe first four tracks encapsulate Arkansas-born Billy Jones. ...a wicked, raw, live version of Albert King's 'Personal Manager', 'my Hometown', a bleak, stark portrayal of the ghetto set to a busy but laid-back and bluesy musical commentary that epitomizes what some have defined as his "gangsta bluez" (...though it is perhaps even better on 'Ain't Good Lookin'), the rocking, rollicking, down-home, and subtly Howling Wolf inflected 'Blues Comes Callin'' and the bluesy/ reggae…See More
Sorry have been out so long....just a lot has happened in my life and re adjusting is taking some time.......but as you see I have some of the music I have done here at home posted now....hope to get to spend more time here....everyone take care..

:-) Carsten (-:
I really like your "let's do it" approach to music with learning by doing, rather than to go and let music theory imprison creativity.
I also believe music should carry a positive message for the people of the world - good news there already are some good messages in the making here.
Interested into global new music experiences?
