Mir geht es auch prima - viel Arbeit, Familie auch in 1000 Projekten beschäftigt, neuer Musik-PC etc.
Das mit den Lyrics finde ich gar nicht so schlimm - das war ja der Einstieg und in den Spielregeln auch so beschrieben.
Auch die CD als solches war ja irgendwie auch vorhersehbar - in dem Moment, wo das Musik-Business auf den Plan kommt, gelten halt völlig andere Regeln (Hoffen wir mal daß die gute Lena sich noch eine Zeit lang diesen Gesetzmäßigkeiten entgegenstemmen kann).
Ich bin vielmehr von der aus meiner Sicht verheerenden Kommunikationspolitik dieses Projektes enttäuscht - fast alle Befürchtungen, die sowohl andere als auch ich vor Monaten schon geäußert hatten, sind am Ende doch eingetreten.
Aber halten wir das positive fest: Wir haben eine Menge nette Leute (und so gut wie keine Community Spoiler) kennen gelernt - hier hatte das Label "Friend" einen etwas höheren Stellenwert als auf Facebook & Co. Und wir haben eine Menge gelernt über andere Kulturen und die Musik. Und das wiegt für mich wesentlich stärker als am Ende eine CD in Händen zu halten...
Geniess noch Deinen Urlaub! Und dann machen wir auch mal wieder was zusammen, versprochen!

Don't worry...I am also a bit busy so I have been neglecting the site and the cause quite a bit. I am fine although things in SA are heating up a bit for us of European descent. I hope things cool down without unfortunate incidents. Isn't it spring yet in Germany?

danke für's Update.
NeckArs hat eine sehr stilvolle Webseite - und es scheinen tolle Projekte dahinter zu stehen.
Schade, daß ich für sowas immer zu weit ab vom Schuss bin!
Aber auch mit unserem Gospelprojekt können wir zeigen, daß auch in der tiefsten Provinz trotzem begeisterte und mitreissende Projekte möglich sind - und das wird hoffentlich immer weiter gehen :-D
Habe in der vergangegen Woche auch mal wieder ein Stückchen klassischer gearbeitet - die erste Komposition meiner Nichte brauchte das Umsetzen der rechten Hand auf eine Bratschenstimme - und dann haben wir gleich ein Laterna Magica Stück daraus gemacht und gestern auf einer Feier uraufgeführt.
Ich hoffe, wir schaffen hier in Kürze auch mal wieder eine Coproduktion zusammen, wär' doch schön?! Ich sehe da noch ein paar Juwelen aus des Poems Factory, die noch eine Einfassung bräuchten :-D

schön daß es Dir gut geht.
Nein, über die CD Produktion weiß ich nicht mehr, als was auf der Home-Blogseite steht.
Ich gehe mal davon aus, daß die Profis nicht von einem Masterplan ausgehen, sondern sich ein Stück nach dem anderen vortasten, um ein definiertes Endprodukt zu bauen.
Bin grad mehr mit einem Werbe-Musikauftrag beschäftigt - ich arbeite da mit einem innovativen Percussionisten aus Koblenz zusammen. Ist nicht grad trivial, das Stück, und echte Millimeterarbeit :-D

It is quite a while since our last chat - in fact it was over a year ago. Now my contribution to the sawubona project is finalized and uploaded on my page. If you'd like to listen to it... the arrangement of my "good hope" did not leave space for my accordion, but for a whole orchestra and the fantastic Kuziem Singers, which we found singing on the streets of Switzerland, when we were shooting a music video last year. It took quite a while to organize everything to make this African-European co-performance work. But now - it is there. Online exclusively for the sawubona musicjam. Enjoy and best regards! Markus

danke für's Anstubsen.
In der Tat brauch ich grad Luft für andere Dinge - in der Arbeit ist das Rennen aufs Jahresende eröffnet und zieht umfangreiche Arbeitsstunden und Reisen nach sich. Und musikalisch wird's langsam knapp für das Jahresabschluß-Konzert der Wissener DaCapo Living Gospel Formation - da fehlen noch ein paar Details im Arrangement.
Gleichzeitig gilt ja erst mal die Deadline für die Auswahl der offiziellen Stücke, und für neue sind die Poems-Of-Good-Hope ja leider noch offline.
Auch muß ja noch über Philo in Frankfurt schreiben - allein es fehlt derzeit noch die Zeit.
Auch wenn der "This-Is-Not-Commerce" Remix noch auf der ToDo-Liste steht - zumindest der Remix von "She Only Dares" ist in den letzten Tagen fertig geworden und ist online (ich will versuchen, das Stück für eine Erweiterung der "Reichweite" zu nutzen, dazu später mehr). Wie gefällt Dir denn die neue (kürzere) Version?

not the instrumental version of Hope should be on the list, but i always had problems to upload - is sounded horrible. Now - wonders happen - the sound is ok and you can hear it. The song "Hope - Ithemba ma Africa" was just wrote at the beginning of the project last year, arranged by Vladimir Romanov and Recorded with my own voice (only hobby singer) . Thank you once more to all helping hands as Lucky who gave me the african words i needed. Conny

wie Du ja noch sicherlich von den Videos unserer Nightshifter-Performance vom letzten Jahr her kennst, bin ich für (fast) jede Form von Live Gig zu begeistern.
Die Tatkraft wird halt leider durch die Entfernungen zwischen den Städten begrenzt - ich wohn' halt im Off - und von den beruflichen und familiären Terminkalendern.
Aber die nächste Performance kommt bestimmt ;-)
