- About me:
- I am working since countless lightyears with IBM in Communications and did a lot of crazy projects - but I guess the MusicJam will be "top of the pops" of all. I am in "Good Hope" that you and me will have a lot fun with the "Songs & Poems Of Good Hope" - fun that helps South Africa! During the last 30 years with IBM I did a lot of "unexpected" projects like Herbie Hancock meets Herbie Hancock on the Boesendorfer Grand Piano with IBM PC:

But one of the most unexpected was an interview with the singer/songwriter of The Kinks, Ray Davies. Background was IBM's Innovation Campaign, which started in 2006. IBM used the Kinks song"I'm Not Like Everybody Else", which is more or less the hymn of The Kinks. As I told my wife Cornelia during breakfast Sunday morning about IBM and The Kinks, she said to me: "You have to do an interview with Ray". That sounds crazy but she knew that I am a fan since 1964. Thanks to Cornelia, Rosa, John and other Communications Colleagues in Armonk, N.Y. - thanks IBM and Ray - we made it: Not Like Everybody Else - the Interview with Ray Davies:

Last Sawubona Song Entry until 10 October 2009
Dear Musicians,
during summertime we planed for Sawubona 2010: CD production, concerts - all what you can imagine. As we want to be ready in March/April 2010 with all songs, the deadline for all entries will be 10 October 2009.
An independent jury (musicians, people from music business) will listen to the songs and will be also responsible for the selection. We will announce the members of the jury within the next weeks. There is a lot of real good stuff for The Songs Of Good Hope, but… Continue

# 6 Stories About Songs Of Good Hope/Soweto's Shebeens
Together with my former IBM colleague Peter Mbelengwa, two friends from Germany and my wife Cornelia, we visited 1995 a Sheeben called "Moon's Shebeen" in Soweto. Shebeens were "illegal" pubs during the Apartheid, because black or coloured people got no permission to sell alcohol. but i am sorry, it has been sometimes years ago in Slovak television ( I don`t know which station), vithin one teleview was short discussion about Sawubona project and this man ( afro origin musician) gave web address on this page.
I have but yet one question, I have noticed that the deadline for all entries was 10 october. I have compose one song on lyrics Sawubona 02 - Have Cup of Bear in form of notation and have offer it for Ala Heiler yesterday. ( He has anounced one song in progress ? ) - can he doing it, or there are other chance? ( moreover I don`t know when he obtain it ). With thanks,

should I be concerned about this omission? I noticed on the main page for the Sawubona project that only one of my songs ( Good Hope ) and not the other ( A Word ) was not added to the playlist. Please can you explain for me as I did add my second song to my player On Oct. 4.
