so I guess it's good we have a cooperation project here to find some vocals for your song :-)
Say, what kind of vocalist or style did you have mind for your song? Or are you ready for surprises?
If this is technically possible for you, it would be a good idea if you split your song into single tracks (or corresponding track groups) and uploaded them into the Music Factory. Then it would be easy to add vocals or - if you like - enhance the sound of some tracks. You could even provide a "demo-only" vocal track where you could demonstrate how the vocals are intended "on the rough" - so a singer could practice by simply singing along to your "raw" demo-vocal, later replacing it with his / her "sophisticated" version.
If you need examples, please have a look at.
* "Ben" project (separation of tracks)
* "Ouma (Part I)" (male lead vocal is highly recognisable as demo only and shall be replaced)
* "New Hope" (version in my page player: Vocal and Piano are originals from Anke, I added the strings )
Would you like a try? Don't hesitate to ask if you have questions.

P.S.: I might even work out some own suggestion for your song later, but it will have to wait since I am committed to 3 other songs first.
P.P.S.: I stored my own lyrics adaptations inside the "Songswriters' Inn" group, so everyone will have easy access to it. You could also post them there.
Hi Carsten, bin heute seit langem mal wieder auf Sawubona gewesen. Hast du die Geschichte mit den Digital Musicians schon gesehen oder getestet? Wie geht es so, was macht die Musik?

by Norman DarwenThe first four tracks encapsulate Arkansas-born Billy Jones. ...a wicked, raw, live version of Albert King's 'Personal Manager', 'my Hometown', a bleak, stark portrayal of the ghetto set to a busy but laid-back and bluesy musical commentary that epitomizes what some have defined as his "gangsta bluez" (...though it is perhaps even better on 'Ain't Good Lookin'), the rocking, rollicking, down-home, and subtly Howling Wolf inflected 'Blues Comes Callin'' and the bluesy/ reggae…See More

At last! Some fresh new sounds from South Africa far from the things "everyone" is expecting!
I like your track "A Word" very much. Straight beat, yet melody and structure leading the listener's attention.
Did you plan to leave it as an instrumental, or shall it be expanded to vocalized disco later?

Great to have a new member from South Africa!
Best regards,
