Good. Some say why rant? But we say why mute? We write words together, we compose music together ( have you heard the one Carsten composed for me on the day I was arrested?) We sing together, We hope together, we are together in whatever state any of us is...
again, you found the right words that will bring strength to everyone who is struggling so hard these days.
I'm really glad we might be able to establish some support - and that we maybe can work out an opportunity to help at least a little bit.
I suggest to post and discuss everything inside a Sawubona Bloggroup I created - I made it a closed group with members by invitation, so we will be able to discuss and say everything we want, and without unwanted readers or spoilers or direct exposure - until we have enough good material to publish.
hope, you are still out there, and everything is fine with you.
I am still looking for insiders to discuss recent developments in Kenya, for example the things that happened to Philo. Do you have some words for a discussion, or a poet's view on the things that are going on?
what's up? we must form the best writers community around here.... you have been quiet. I lost this mail but found it and of course, I am your friend...

Jacob, it is always good to hear from friends who are so creative... keep going....
It would be nice to have you record your poems in your language and post it. i would like to hear your voice. Even if i dont understand what you are saying I can still feel the message.
hello Jacob. It would be cool to see how that would work. If you listen to my music you will see that I dont sing. We would need to get a singer involved. Let me know what you want me to do. I am a shoot from the hip player. I rarely play the same thing twice and even forget my own music over time. The recordings I make are either done such that I play enough to get the track down or I play on top of pre recorded tracks that my friend Bill Harris records. It is all a big expirement. If you would be inspired to words I would be greatful to read them and see what happens.

by Norman DarwenThe first four tracks encapsulate Arkansas-born Billy Jones. ...a wicked, raw, live version of Albert King's 'Personal Manager', 'my Hometown', a bleak, stark portrayal of the ghetto set to a busy but laid-back and bluesy musical commentary that epitomizes what some have defined as his "gangsta bluez" (...though it is perhaps even better on 'Ain't Good Lookin'), the rocking, rollicking, down-home, and subtly Howling Wolf inflected 'Blues Comes Callin'' and the bluesy/ reggae…See More
