Philanthropic Work

Kaki Entertainment, provides business management and consultation for various entertainment entities, including record labels, film production studios, and music production studios. Kaki provides our business clients with guidance in all areas of promoting their entertainment assets, from product placement and branding to investment tools that will allow the businesses to grow to their full potential. In addition, Kaki represents individual artists in both the business and personal aspects of their career. Kaki strives to make a difference in our world by investing a percentage of our gross income into various charities and non-profit organizations.

Kaki Entertainment has recently affiliated with “Helping Kids in Poverty”, an organization focused on helping children who live in poverty, in Europe and around the World.

With a better education as key, we support children in creating a better way of life, allowing them to experience holidays while in their youth that they would otherwise never enjoy. We provide gifts for these children, such as toys and electronics. Computers are essential as they allow these children to learn to connect to other children around the world and keep up with global education standards. All money collected goes to projects designed to assist schools, orphanages, and other institutions which house and care for our world's children living in poverty.

Kathy, I welcome your friendship and applaud your life-work in the music industry and making a difference in the lives of children. Currently, I am exploring and engaging dynamical leaders on ways to help The Goromonzi Project in Zimbabwe (http://www.goromonziproject.org/newsletter.htm) who has supported 151 orphans and vulnerable children with food, education, and healthcare. My friend Janet Shaw, founder and director who lives in Goromonzi, Zimbabwe is living with joy and purposefulness and meaningful activities in facilitating possibilities for these children as future leaders daily. My friends at the Authentic Leadership in Action Institute (ALIA), Africa Group a non-for-profit organization with individual members in USA, Kenya, South Africa, Nigeria, Liberia, Canada, United Kingdom, and Sweden desire to organize a World Summit/Conference in 2010 as a fundraiser to help The Goromonzi Project in Zimbabwe. The purpose of the fundraiser is to support goals and project initiatives of the Goromonzi Project and additional orphans and vulnerable children in Zimbabwe. How can you help us? I am thanking you in advance for listening and your consideration. My email address: mutazammil@hotmail.com.

Warm regards,
Wali

Hi Kathy,

at the moment we are on the way to involve more musicians from South Africa. Yesterday we had a videoconference with some musicians in Cape Town (including Zolani from Feshlyground). Another move in this directions will be a possible concert with Hugh Masekela & Band - they will play at 5 July in Suttgart.

It would be absolutly great to have also more musicians from the US in the project. Maybe that could be a point to discuss with you?

Let me know what do you think?

Thanks and best regards,
Dieter

Hello Kathy,

thank you very much for your friend request. I really appreciate that. Moreover, I'm very involved in helping kids through SAWUBONA, too. Thus we have already common ground! And I already did a song with a pre-school in Berlin (bilingual kindergarten, 3 years old kids). Below you find the link to the video ("The making of ..........") which is in German (unfortunately). But I added a subscription to the blog. So you can read what Anne and me are talking about ;-)!

Anne-Sophie Briest is a famous actress in Germany and she's the CEO of the Kindergarten! She is helping us very much.............! Beside, the song was sung by one of the teacher herself!!!

Moreover, some students did a music video from our kindergarten-song. It's very cute and we love it very much. Even the kids and the teachers.

Enjoy the videos...........I'm looking forward to your contribution.
Thanks for joining us!
Andreas

P.S.: I like your picture with the bass ! Keep on rockin'!!!

cd review

by Norman DarwenThe first four tracks encapsulate Arkansas-born Billy Jones. ...a wicked, raw, live version of Albert King's 'Personal Manager', 'my Hometown', a bleak, stark portrayal of the ghetto set to a busy but laid-back and bluesy musical commentary that epitomizes what some have defined as his "gangsta bluez" (...though it is perhaps even better on 'Ain't Good Lookin'), the rocking, rollicking, down-home, and subtly Howling Wolf inflected 'Blues Comes Callin'' and the bluesy/ reggae…See More
