Consul-General Tselane Mokuena assumed her duties at the South African Consulate-General in Munich in October 2008 (the Consulate is accredited to the States of Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg).
Prior to this, Consul-General Mokuena was the Chief Director for Southern Africa in South Africa’s Department of Foreign Affairs. During this time she oversaw bilateral relations between South Africa and all countries of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) countries. She also advised the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Presidency on issues of bilateral concern, worked closely with the Presidency on the Presidential Economic Commissions between South Africa, Namibia, Tanzania and Mozambique. The Consul-General played a key role in South Africa’s assistance for the holding of the 2007 elections in the (Democratic Republic of Congo). She was further responsible for the South African government’s programme for post conflict reconstruction and development in the DRC and Angola. The Consul-General also played a key role in the formulation of South Africa’s foreign policy approach to Zimbabwe. She was a member of the African Renaissance Board and the Department of Foreign Affairs’ Bid Committee. The Consul-General has also previously held positions in the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) of South Africa, and in the provincial government of the Free State province of South Africa.
She enjoys swimming, tennis, the outdoors and working at improving her golf.

I love to see you dancing for SAWUBONA! That was a real great involvement. You moved yourself to make the people moving! It is not enough to stand in life - you also have to move in it. I think, moving is the most basic method for helping people, start changing and eliminate grievances. Thus, our MUSIC will make the PEOPLE moving (even their point of view). People, music and collaboration are the foundation of this project. I'm sure, that this project will provide a great contribution to make this world a better world. A world of understanding, helping, learning, collaborating and equally share results without affecting each other adversely.
