I'm really happy we might have the opportunity to make up some collaboration in music. Would be a great honour for me.
My proposal is of course "the obvious" one, since you might already have found the a-capella song inside my page player. If you listen to "04: OUMA Part I " , you will find something not entirely different to Bobby McFerrin style, but with a computerized faked lead vocal since I had no credible voice at hand to sing the lead track. For my inner ear your voice might make up the perfect fit to replace it.
If you have some additional ideas for that song, or if some parts appear to be too silly, I'll be glad for any suggestion.
The funny thing about that song: It contains the voice of the original Ouma, the woman the lyrics had been written about 15 years ago. I could convince Lucky Thobela to visit her in Capetown to take her voice on tape and transfer it via internet - since then it is somehow a unique one ;-)
I allowed myself to upload a karaoke version without the lead vocal, so you could download it from this link. If you like, I could also upload all single tracks like for the jazz version of Part II, if you need them.
Looking forward to your ideas!
Kind regards,

But that does not mean, we are already complete - it would be absolutly great to get your version of that song - I feel it is a blues (:--)))
I am looking forward to hear your "Collecting The Money" !!!
Best regards, Dieter
P.S. You find every song that we have in the player on top of the mainpage.

by Norman DarwenThe first four tracks encapsulate Arkansas-born Billy Jones. ...a wicked, raw, live version of Albert King's 'Personal Manager', 'my Hometown', a bleak, stark portrayal of the ghetto set to a busy but laid-back and bluesy musical commentary that epitomizes what some have defined as his "gangsta bluez" (...though it is perhaps even better on 'Ain't Good Lookin'), the rocking, rollicking, down-home, and subtly Howling Wolf inflected 'Blues Comes Callin'' and the bluesy/ reggae…See More
