I like the little poem "from a drop of milk" you added to the site, because it reminds me on my old school days where we learned a Latin verse that could be a counterpart for it somehow, though lacking the divine aspect it has a similar structure, and "death" is the turning point in both. I put it on:
I found it on a Dutch (!) page, and for all those who were not tortured by a dead language for years at school, the pictures also reveal parts of the similarity.
At least we now have a little comparison between Mali and Ancient Roman culture somehow, so one could say both stories go back to the roots of African and European culture.
Still, and of course, the Latin verse (being a children's verse) has less poetic qualities than the Mali verse.
Kind regards, Carsten
P.S.: I didn't join the group yet where you published it, since I guess I have to work real hard to become a real insider :-)

Hi Carsten, bin heute seit langem mal wieder auf Sawubona gewesen. Hast du die Geschichte mit den Digital Musicians schon gesehen oder getestet? Wie geht es so, was macht die Musik?
Gruß Conny
