Back on the block
Time has passed. I have been faced with technical difficulties, concentrating on work and family and taking my guitar playing in a new direction. I have blown amps and speakers and smelled burned wires and rattled fabric.
After rebuilding my Dean V and creating a new tuning and string set up I was excited and riffs were coming along well but the ease at which songs come to me has slowed a great deal. This is unfamiliar ground for me. I do like what I am hearing but song construction is not flowing as it did when I went acoustic or when I just jam with the blues. I have a new found respect for the "math metal" bands. I find it difficult to do with out other peoples input. I have almost stopped playing. I post this for only one reason. To make myself play daily. Get something recorded and put it on the site.

Great, Billy, really looking forward to it.
In the meantime, I'm trying to gain full control over my new Focusrite Liquid Saffire 56, which appears to surprisingly shoot out my complete mixing desk hardware, which wasn't even planned at this stage..... Was just trying to get rid of that constant digital earphone sizzling which comes along when larger parts of the setup are linked over non-symmetrical connectors....
I hope my musical skill will grow alongside with improved technical recording quality, to match your demands on cooperative song development, so I can handle your guitar artwork with the right treatment :-D
