Last Sawubona Song Entry until 10 October 2009

Dear Musicians,

during summertime we planed for Sawubona 2010: CD production, concerts - all what you can imagine. As we want to be ready in March/April 2010 with all songs, the deadline for all entries will be 10 October 2009.

An independent jury (musicians, people from music business) will listen to the songs and will be also responsible for the selection. We will announce the members of the jury within the next weeks. There is a lot of real good stuff for The Songs Of Good Hope, but will not produce a sampler CD. That means we plan to work on all selected songs to rearrange and give them a common musical concept and sound. Therefore we will contact each musician of a selected song before we start to use his/her song for the CD - because two reasons: Frist: explain the concept and get your o.k. for useing the song.

Many thanks to all participants/musicians so far for all the great created music. A lot of hard work is done and we never thought to get so many very different originals to each song lyric. It will not easy for the jury to find out the best songs. But it's really a great pleasure to hear the sound of the "Songs Of Good Hope"

P.S. Of course we try to keep the last entry date as long open as possible. If you know before 10 October that you can not make the deadline with your song, please let uns know asap and send us your date. This will be the best way to manage entries after 10 October. Thanks!
